A Thanksgiving Day

In a time, where we all know someone who has lost their job, filed bankruptcy, or dealing with health issues this is a day when we can refresh our mind and body and focus on what makes us thankful. As Michelle and I have experienced the "roller coaster" of life this past year we can agree on one thing, we are thankful for our family, friends and loved ones. With all the ups and downs we are grateful for the support, advice and love we have received.

Our Thanksgiving Day started out in the grand ole' U's fashion- leafing through 1,000 pages of "Black Friday" ads, while drinking hot coco and coffee. Once 9am rolled around, P1 was amped up for the Macy's Day Parade, which took us down stairs to enjoy the 82nd Annual Parade teamed up with the 3rd Annual muffins, bacon and hash brown breakfast.

We decided to finally get dressed around 1:00pm and prepared to head for Thanksgiving Dinner. The day has ended and allowed us to reflect as we do every night and we have found that we are Thankful!

Where does the time go?

It's amazing how fast time passes. It feels as if it was just yesterday when P1 was born. She is now 3 1/2 yrs old and P2 is preparing to turn 10 weeks old. We were finally able to find or make time to get portraits of the Princesses. In Underwood fashion, it did not go easy. Yet after 3 1/2 hours here are the results.

Happy Halloween

We spent Halloween with our parents and our great friends. It was an evening full of boo's, laughs, giggles, Hannah Montana, a Flower and a Pumpkin.

Facts of Life...

In a time where we watch our stocks rise and fall like my Fantasy Football team and the economy is like Hayden's diapers, sticky and stinky, I was informed that my Grandfather will be turning 90 yrs young in December.
I would the love the opportunity to sit and discuss with him what it takes to make it to 90, but I am sure it has alot to do with him being a "Crota" and a "U-per". My Grandpa is from Croatia and has lived most of his life in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, working the Ore docks and playing Hockey. Although many of his Hockey injuries have caught up to him, when asked how he is he responds "Fit as a fiddle."
As I look across our family tree, the life expectancy runs long and strong through out. So as we fear a financial collapse or "hic-cup" in the economy one thing I look forward to what life will be like when I'm 90 or when the kidos are 90.
